Byte launched its teledentistry platform in 2019 and has since enjoyed remarkable growth in the invisible aligner market. The company's low-cost, guaranteed impression kit, staff of licensed dentists and orthodontists, as well the free product enhancements it offers, make Byte an attractive option for patients who need mild to moderate orthodontic correction.

To get started, patients complete an at-home impression kit and provide photographs to be evaluated through a personalized patient portal. Once treatment is approved by a dental professional, they will receive a set of aligners. byte uses a technology called Smile Science, created by a Hollywood dentist, to help determine each patient's course of alignment treatment.

I'm on week one of wearing my aligners. I can already feel (and see) the aligners slowly starting to move my teeth into better position (when I take them out briefly to eat a meal, my mouth feels a bit sore, and I have a mild headache--signs that things are working, encouraging me to keep my eye on the prize; plus, the HyperByte device seems to increase my sense of comfort wearing the aligner). One of the most noticeable initial changes was how the BrightByte cleaning/whitening solution really seemed to noticeably whiten my teeth just after a day or two of use. I hadn't been expecting that. So far I’m happy with my byte aligned! At first there were uncomfortable, and they hurt but now it’s all good! I barely even feel them throughout the day. Customer service is convenient (email/ text), and response time is smooth and accurate.

I've been in this journey for a while now and, even though it's been way longer than expected, I would still recommend Byte to anybody looking for a new smile! Their customer service is outstanding. Yes, it may take them 2-3 days to get a reply- but you will always get one. At least I always did!

Impressions were super easy. I thought it would take a lot longer to get my aligners, but they came super quick, even after the holidays. Aligners are comfortable and transitions are smooth. Much better than my experience with traditional braces. I gave four stars because customer service is a little disconnected. A different person responds each time to a thread and will ask for information I already gave. But I still get my questions answered and they are very nice. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend them.
