Byte launched its teledentistry platform in 2019 and has since enjoyed remarkable growth in the invisible aligner market. The company's low-cost, guaranteed impression kit, staff of licensed dentists and orthodontists, as well the free product enhancements it offers, make Byte an attractive option for patients who need mild to moderate orthodontic correction.

To get started, patients complete an at-home impression kit and provide photographs to be evaluated through a personalized patient portal. Once treatment is approved by a dental professional, they will receive a set of aligners. byte uses a technology called Smile Science, created by a Hollywood dentist, to help determine each patient's course of alignment treatment.

Byte has been awesome and has delivered great results so far! I'm only about halfway through with my treatment plan, but the pain has been so minimal, if any, and the fit of the aligners is perfect! Each week when I switch them out I see results within days. I can't wait to see how the end result turns out! One con I will say, though, is their customer service team has not been the best. They messed up my payment and so decided to credit me (which is great) but the credit took nearly two months and CONSTANT follow up with their communications team. Everyone kept re-directing me to someone else. It felt like they were purposely dodging me to try and get out of the refund they promised.... Read More
