Byte launched its teledentistry platform in 2019 and has since enjoyed remarkable growth in the invisible aligner market. The company's low-cost, guaranteed impression kit, staff of licensed dentists and orthodontists, as well the free product enhancements it offers, make Byte an attractive option for patients who need mild to moderate orthodontic correction.

To get started, patients complete an at-home impression kit and provide photographs to be evaluated through a personalized patient portal. Once treatment is approved by a dental professional, they will receive a set of aligners. byte uses a technology called Smile Science, created by a Hollywood dentist, to help determine each patient's course of alignment treatment.

The Byte aligners and overall treatment plan has gone well, but the overall experience isn't great. I have had inconsistent customer service, and they do not provide enough cleaner/whitener to use. When I requested more I was told I could either pay $30 or leave reviews on 3 sites and submit them to Byte. That was upsetting because I expect when paying a lot of money for a treatment that all supplies necessary to complete the treatment as directed should be included.

The customer service at Byte is awesome. When I had a problem with transitioning to the next week on my aligners they got me all set up and I have a new set of aligners that will b here next week. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to straighten their teeth.

I love my byte!! I’m on 6 weeks and already see such a difference! They are actually pretty comfortable, and people can’t tell you have them in. Also they give you this pump that you put on them and it whitens your teeth! Every time I’ve had a question I always get a response from customer service quickly! Basically I love them and I recommend them to everyone! Feeling confident!!

Truthfully, this is one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in my life. With anyone, I feel like having a smile that you’re proud of is very important, and for a long time, I didn’t have that.
