Byte launched its teledentistry platform in 2019 and has since enjoyed remarkable growth in the invisible aligner market. The company's low-cost, guaranteed impression kit, staff of licensed dentists and orthodontists, as well the free product enhancements it offers, make Byte an attractive option for patients who need mild to moderate orthodontic correction.

To get started, patients complete an at-home impression kit and provide photographs to be evaluated through a personalized patient portal. Once treatment is approved by a dental professional, they will receive a set of aligners. byte uses a technology called Smile Science, created by a Hollywood dentist, to help determine each patient's course of alignment treatment.

I am only halfway through my aligners, however the experience I have received so far has been great! I have used other Aligners in the past, but Byte has been better, in terms of the service received from day 1, and the service offerings for the package. The process is easier and more flexible if things go wrong, or if you need help. I am very happy with Byte so far!

Byte has been a great alternative to an otherwise costly ‘in-office’ partnered provider. Still costly though, and perhaps that is where the lack of personnel interaction during this experience factors in. Granted, they were very present in the beginning before I signed up and payed hundreds or dollars. I am still in the process of my alignment journey, and while my domestic partner has noticed a difference, no others have. I can most definitely tell a difference, however, with less than three weeks to go on my bottom teeth, I have concerns. I’ve loved my journey with this Byte system so far. It has been a smooth and easy process, with an incredible price! (The perfect combination). My treatment was set for 21 weeks, I’ve been using my aligners for only 7 weeks and I can totally see the difference simply by following the instructions they sent me. And the best part, since is only a simple modification to my smile, I don’t have to do any in person visits, with just a few photos every other week they can oversee my progress. 100% recommended!
